Day Camp 2026
Our day campers spend their days exploring and playing at camp in the rain or shine. Campers travel around camp with a group of peers and counselors, grouped by age. They get to know fellow campers throughout the week and do activities together as a team. The themes for each week are infused into the activities so there is always something new to foster growth and wonder. Each day is a mix of free play, planned activities, and activities that the campers choose either individually or as a group. The "every-week" activities we offer campers include swimming, catch and release fishing, boating, exploring the forests, archery, makerspace (creative craft area), singing camp songs, and exploring the farm and garden. Our daily goal is to send campers home a little tired, a little dirty, and full of joy. Each week will end with an all Day Camp activity to celebrate all that we have done for the week.

Group Requests: We understand that doing something new can be a little scary at first and we honor and see how brave our campers are when coming to camp, especially for the first time. Camp is also a place where deep friendships are quickly formed over 1 short week. At Skyline we work hard to build a positive social environment where all campers learn, grow and thrive. As we directors work to build our groups each week we put a lot of thought and effort into fostering this environment for all campers - those that come with a friend in mind and those that are stepping out in courage to arrive at camp solo. As we continue to create a space to welcome all campers, we ask that if a grouping request is made, the request is only for 1 mutual camper that is within 1 year of your camper’s age. While requests can be made, we can not guarantee any requests. Please contact Sara if you have any questions about groups for Day Camp and Prism.

What is the optional late night/overnight option for Day Camp?
The late night or overnight are additional opportunities for your camper to experience more of camp in a way that is not regularly offered at Day Camp.
Late Night: Instead of being picked up at the normal 5:00pm time, your camper will stay at camp, with our Day Camp Counselors, and eat dinner at camp, participate in an evening activity, and attend our all camp evening campfire and have a snack. If time and weather permit, we will then adventure on an night hike to experience camp in the dark. Campers will then be picked up at the Day Camp Hub at 10:00pm. Friday Day Camp still happens as normal for our late night participants. The cost for the late night option is $20. Sign up for this event will be available until the Tuesday before the late night.
Overnight: Instead of being picked up at the normal 5:00pm time, your camper will stay at camp, with our Day Camp Counselors, and eat dinner at camp, participate in an evening activity, and attend our all camp evening campfire and have a snack. If time and weather permit, we will then adventure on an night hike to experience camp in the dark. Campers will then return to their assigned cabins with our Day Camp counselors and have the chance to shower if needed and then head off to bed. In the morning, they will be served breakfast and then will join their color groups to finish off their week of Day Camp with their groups. The cost for the overnight option is $40. Sign up for this event will be available until the Tuesday before the overnight.
Who can attend the Late Night or Overnight?
This event is available for those campers that are participating in the week of Day Camp during the week these events are offered.
