"If I have to be remembered for something, I want it remembered that I really liked children and was a good camp counselor."

on what he would prefer to be remembered for
instead of "The Godfather."
Summer Camp 2008

This summer's theme is "Be the Change!" Young or old, we all want our lives to count for something. There are plenty of things wrong with our planet - homelessness, hunger, global warming, poverty...the list goes on and on. Your age does NOT matter - you CAN make a difference! You CAN be the change needed! The theme is based on the book by 15 year-old abolitionist and activist, Zach Hunter, who is proving that one person can make a difference. Campers will discover how they can be the change and make a difference in their communities.

The mission of Skyline Summer Camp is to instill in all campers the belief that they have the unconditional love of a caring God. We ask the question:

Who are you?
And remind every camper of the answer:
I am a child of God!
And what does that mean, we ask?
That I belong to God who loves me!
