can be experienced in a way that
nurtures and transforms lives.

Situated in southern Lapeer County on 156 acres of rolling hills with hardwood forest and whispering pines, Skyline is a haven from city life, the routine and the stresses of the work day – providing the perfect year-round venue for retreats, off-site meetings and seminars.  Skyline supplies all the facilities and tools needed for a productive retreat or conference and can accommodate groups for overnight retreats, week-long conferences or day use.  Skyline’s Retreat Center welcomes a variety of individuals and groups – both private and public, both faith-based and secular.

Every aspect of the Skyline experience is focused on awakening our guests to the possibilities around them and providing a foundation for improving their lives.  To do this, our staff and our activities all work to create an accepting environment, where people feel respected and free from judgment.  

By helping our guests let go of their daily concerns and constraints, they open themselves to the discovery and development of new life skills. They experience a sense of empowerment that can help them take more control of their lives when they return home.  They deepen their appreciation of the natural environment, engage in healthy relationships and build self-esteem.  No wonder so many of our guests come again and again – and forever remember their experiences at Skyline as life-changing.
