Camp FAR & Away – June 20–25
A camp experience for youth with special needs, in partnership with the Variety FAR Conservatory
Discovery Camp – June 27–July 2 (for Oakland County YAP)
This week at Skyline is designed for campers (from Oakland County Youth Assistance Programs) to discover new things. Discover who you are and what that means. Discover your gifts and talents. Participate in activities including: arts & crafts, swimming & canoeing, gardening, fishing, hiking, geocaching, drumming, sports and games. This is a separate registration through the schools.
Elementary Weeks – July 4–9 and July 11–16
Campers enjoy a full week of activities designed to provide a fun filled camp experience. Caring counselors help the campers build trust, make new friends, and learn to live in community. Campers participate in: faith exploration, swimming, canoeing, art projects, daily devotions, nature hikes, drum circles, organic gardening, geocaching, singing, worship, nightly campfires, and much more! Elementary campers live in the cabins.
Mini Camp – July 4–6
Enjoy 3 days / 2 nights of camp. An introduction to camp or a chance for those who prefer a shorter session. Campers will participate in all the traditional camp activities. Mini Camp campers will be staying in Focus Hall.
Mid High Weeks – July 11–16 and July 18–23
Are you ready to make a difference? Then make sure you sign up for one of these sessions. Along with all of the traditional activities and programs, we’ve got plenty of exciting opportunities for you to enjoy: Scavenger Hunts, Talent Shows, geocaching hikes, camp service projects and surprise activities! Mid-High campers will be housed in the cabins.
Senior High Week – July 18–23
Do you think that you’re too old for summer camp? We don’t! This week is your chance to experience the Team Challenge Course, go on geocaching hikes, learn how to photograph the world around you, participate in a special community project, and be part of discussions with other youth who want to make a difference. Senior-High campers will be housed in Focus Hall.
